Project type

Plan Vivo 5.0 Project

Project area

The project initial aim is to plant over 250 ha per year. Over time, the project area will be gradually extended to scale-up the project impact.

Main activities

Key activities are enrichment planting with indigenous species and naturalized fruit trees sourced from local nurseries, and taking care of the trees on the long term.

Plan Vivo stage

The project started in January 2022 with baseline measurements and the first planting activities. The PIN was approved in July 2022 and Plan Vivo certification is expected in December 2023.
